I used Don Jordan on the recommendation of my realtor. I received the rate for a simple closing on a residence 2 days prior to closing. His fee was between 50% and 300% higher than any of my real estate contacts in the Asheville, Raleigh and Piedmont areas had seen. I was shocked. Prior to the close, I pointed out math and spelling errors but I had experienced those in other closes also. Annoying but may be part of the deal, who knows.
