Very condescending and rude. I went in as a victim asking for help preparing a DVPO case, and he treated me like I’m an imbecile. He also very sarcastically asked me: “Do you even have $800?” for his fee. I am so glad I did not hire him. As a survivor of domestic violence and a woman, do not go to this firm. I should have believed the one star reviews. Fellow women, beware. I went to another firm and they guided me graciously and compassionately through how to make a stronger case with their help, but without the nasty attitude. They got my paltry $800, by the way.
The worst ever !!! I will never hire them again ! Lost a case that was postponed 7 months later over a speeding ticket? You guys suck you just like to get money out of people ! You guys can’t even do a follow up with your own clients…. I bet yall didn’t even try fighting my case cause I had to find out thru a letter from the department of transportation saying I have 7 points on my license???? Like what I didn’t even know I lost the case ???? Now I have to wait over the weekend to get a stupid answer for bells and Browne ! I hate this attorney and will never recommend you guys ! Do better
If you are considering hiring this individual, my advice is to seek other representation. If you are a female, be aware that you will be sent inappropriate text messages if you are in contact with him. If you don’t engage in his inappropriate attempts, this will only make his representation less effective. If you are a victim of domestic violence, and are charged, as a means of retaliation, weeks later by the individual that committed acts of domestic violence against you, and that individual is a male, Mr. Browne will not have your best interest at heart and will side with the opposing party. Be prepared to receive ineffective counsel that lacks empathy & takes advantage of you, because he feels that he is entitled to do so, at your most vulnerable moments. Against my better judgement, and after my first encounter with him, I chose to hire this individual, which was a huge mistake on my part. My experience with Mr. Browne was absolutely horrible, and I am writing this review in hopes that I can spare the next victim from having to endure what I did.
