We just endured the most horrific home buying experience of our lives. After we drove 3000 miles to purchase our home, Lomanto and his assistant failed to respond to a single one of our queries, did not inform us of the exact amount we would need at closing (failing to consider that some of our funds would be difficult to wire from at the last minute), and did not bother to respond when the seller’s attorney gave a later date for the closing than we had been given. My husband was already stuck in a motel for over three weeks, and it would have helped if someone had provided assurance that our closing date was indeed correct. Instead, they left for the weekend, so we had to wait until Monday, when our realtor confirmed that the earlier date was correct. We were his clients; we were paying him to represent us; but he ignored us completely, so I doubt he’ll care about our feelings now.
