Would give them a zero star rating, but it is not possible. They have the worst turn-around time. Do not follow up with you. Based on the lack of good customer relations is why my rating is what it is… would suggest Nave Law Firm. They will bill you for work that they have not even performed!
If you want a lawyer who shakes in court, can’t answer questions the judge asks, overcharges you, doesn’t communicate when they make decisions days before a court appearance and your lawyer doesn’t appear or call to let you know they are sending someone else, neglects to listen, or appropriately respond to billing questions then these are the Lawyers for you! I wanted to like them and thought my case was pretty straightforward, however, instead of just worrying about my case I have been worrying about the terrible services provided by Colwell and what they will do next to disappoint.
I thought lawyers were a profession that had to be held to certain standards but clearly not this place. They were absolutely terrible and don’t even deserve one star. They will charge you double for everything and their lawyers quit every other month. I was on my third assigned lawyer in 5 months when I finally had it and decided to go elsewhere. Unfortunately 90% of my retainer was spent on double lawyer charges and paperwork that was never even filed, almost $7000 just gone. They put my case behind at least 6 months. Absolutely disgusting. Do not sign with them!!!
