My experience with Berger, Fischoff, Shumer, Wexler & Goodman revolved around a tenant of mine that would not vacate the home that I own in Brooklyn when his lease had expired. Assigned to my case was Joan Neely who did an excellent job to produce a signed vacate agreement with this tenant. Her level of expertise and her approach to the issue was superb. She was gentle when the situation called for it and strong when a firm hand was needed. Ultimately the case reached a satisfactory conclusion that eliminated the need to petition the courts for an eviction which might have turned into a long, drawn out, and expensive several months to reach a settlement in my favor. She proved to be a pleasure to work with, was easy to reach when questions had arisen, and, provided a sense from start to finish that I was in the best of hands. I give her and this firm 5 stars. If there was a 6th star, I would have happily provided this rating The fees for this were reasonable, and I would recommend this firm to anyone who is seeking excellent representation for a legal issue.
