The negative comments are true, she will drop your case in the middle of handling it because you are trying to find out why you were ignored. Or she will ignore you for so long that you end up having to fire her as you can see in the comments! So super unprofessional and i wouldn’t reccomend her at all. She excuses this behavior because of the fact that she doesn’t charge any fees upfront and then she will go behind your back and request the fees from whoever your case was against. It’s just very upsetting the way that she treats people. When I hired her I tried to ignore the bad reviews but I’m now believing that the good reviews are fake or written by family members and friends. Do not hire this woman unless you want more stress and hassle on your plate, oh and if you’re unhappy with her lack of ability to respond to you for weeks don’t write a review about it because she will drop you as a client even though she was the one that ignored you for weeks after sending multiple emails and calling the office on multiple occasions. Such a headache and I am nowhere farther in the process than I was when I began with her
The Law Office of Bonnie Lawston is just phenomenal. They guided me through an Estate proceeding that involved some very “difficult” relatives. Bonnie handled all of my concerns with professionalism, knowledge, kindness and compassion. Being that I am out of state, I did not have to set foot in her office not one time. We were able to handle everything through the mail, email and phone calls.
