V. Bruce Chambers, an attorney based in Newark, New York, has received notably negative feedback from clients. Many reviews express dissatisfaction with his lack of communication and preparation, indicating that clients felt he was more focused on financial gain than providing effective legal representation. Overall, the consensus suggests that clients have had disappointing experiences, often feeling worse off than if they had represented themselves.
I would give less stars if at all possible. I believe Mr. Chambers was once a decent lawyer, but he is not anymore. He is concerned with getting your money, but not earning it. He didn’t meet with me before going to court, other than the initial meeting. At court, he didn’t know I was his client by sight for sure. He reviewed my file right before going into court, and didn’t know emails he was reading were coming from me. I made out worse in court with him than I would have by representing myself. Then he didn’t charge out half my retainer, but refuses to return the rest. His office doesn’t return phone calls. All around, worst lawyer I have ever seen.
