“Excellent in both professionalism and experience. My experience was exceptionally great. A very well organized firm, experienced, and professional. Customer service was excellent. Mrs Patrica Powis the lawyer that handled my sister’s case for over 5+yrs, was the best. She was very thorough and very experienced. She knows what she’s talking about. All in all, I had a positive experience and I highly recommend this Mrs. Powis
Tried making an appointment to speak with Patricia Powis about LTC since she is an Aarp consultant. Thought she would be just the person to seek advice but I was wrong. Spoke to her once and she emailed me too about being busy one week in February and will make arrangements to schedule an appointment. This is now going on for almost 3 weeks since that first contact. Did she contact you? Never heard from her after making many phone calls to her.
I do NOT recommend Patricia Powis. When we need her the most, she is NOT there for you. For example, in 2017 she assisted my mom with an Irrevocable trust. Irrevocable trusts lead to home title/Deed changes etc. NYC Dept of Finance wanted to take away my mother’s senior discounts due to changing the Deed. These discounts are significant. We reached out to Patricia (my brother and I) and not one call back. Now, 2023, my mother is 93 years old, and we need options on what our best next step is financially and with the way the trust was written. I reached out to Patricia via email and call. Nothing back. I called her from a different # (work # which doesn’t show my name) and she picked up immediately. She offered to set up a ZOOM call with my family. 4 days later sends us an email that she is not taking on “new” clients. What? My mother is not a new client. She FAILED to be there for my mother when we needed her the most. I would not recommend her to anyone.
