I feel compelled to share my harrowing experience with Avalone Law Firm to alert others about the questionable and unethical practices I encountered. I hired Ms. Avalone in July 2022 for legal assistance in finalizing my divorce, obtaining child support, and securing full custody of my two children.
Update: I filed for arbitration and I won. The arbitrator issued an award in my favor in the amount of $1,500. The award was binding on Avalone, but she failed to pay it. I had to go to court to get it confirmed so that I could start the enforcement procedure. Avalone showed up in court more than an hour late and finally handed me the check. The fact that she lost a case regarding her own fees and was late to court for the hearing only confirms her incompetence that I described in my original review below. Her response pretending to not know who I am is amateur. I can definitely post a copy of the award to refresh her memory.
I was desperate and confused until we met with Ms. Anna Avalone she immediately provided answers and instilled confidence. I was hesitant to use a younger attorney but she knew exactly the letter of the law and offered intelligent and well thought out ways to resolve my son’s family court case. Ms. Avalone kept us updated and informed every step of the way. I felt secure that she really cares about her clients. Ms. Avalone fought hard to represent our interests. As I am retired she graciously worked with us regarding fees. She really cares, I have had many other attorneys throughout the years but Ms. Avalone far surpassed my expectations. I cannot thank her enough. I highly recommend Avalone Law.
