DONT use this guy. Very rude, unprofessional, cranky! So if you want to risk it. Go ahead. (I read his response below) No he never asked me for a fee as he claims. I would only call when I got some paperwork in the mail that I needed him to review, I would drop off the paperwork which was usually 3 to 4 pages. Then leave a message and wait a few days, when he wouldn’t call I would call him. He then told me to come pick up the paperwork and read it myself. So I don’t think its unreasonable to ask your lawyer to review some 3 to 4 page forms pertaining to the case. I thought that was what they were suppose to do. I never called him daily as he claims. Maybe if he focused more on being a lawyer and not babysitting students with his student rentals he would be more effective.
I have to say that Kevin is very “hardline”. It’s not that he’s not capable of his job or dedication to his line of work, but response time and lack of “bedside manner” is an issue I felt while attempting to work with him.
Kevin Guyette was the lead attorney in a complicated intellectual property law suit and I was impressed with his mastery of the facts and his knowledge of the law and trial procedures. He is an extremely smart man and I would trust him to handle any litigation matter.
