I was represented by attorney Eric. After my case was concluded, I called the firm and asked for final payment, which I was told $12,800. I did not feel comfortable making the payment online, hence tried to pay over the phone. The lady responsible for taking payment was not available, it went straight to voicemail. A few days later I get series of bills, the math did not add up. I emailed numerous times because of the discrepancy and magically the numbers changed and I owed the firm close to $20,000. I tried to reason it out with the attorney, but of course I can’t do much. Who am I kidding at this point. I know for a fact they added stuff to my existing bill and the number jumped from $12,800 to close to $20,000.
