My mother was sued in a case of mistaken identity. We reached out numerous times by email and telephone (without representation from a lawyer) and they only responded when we had to fight a summons that they escalated and the Judge ordered them to. Ari Stein’s email magically began to work again. It does not matter that they eventually dropped the case because I still had to take time off, spend days in Court to submit paperwork on my own instead of paying a lawyer $5K plus to handle our case. A paralegal friend of mine said that their law firm always responds to cases of mistaken identity at first point of contact and that would’ve been the right thing to do.
