Fantastic. Susan is well versed in family/divorce law and was the best person I could have hired for my unique (awful) marital situation. She’s a straight shooter. She does not mess around. If you choose Susan as your lawyer, you are choosing the best person possible to represent you.
Susan has represented me twice. The first time was for my divorce. While I got an outcome that was not in my favor, it was no fault of Susan’s. My ex took full advantage of my emotionally distraught state of mind. Although Susan counseled me rationally, professionally, thoughtfully, and expertly, I just wasn’t in a good head, at all, and I did not follow her advice. She was forthright in declaring that I was getting screwed, but I couldn’t see past the fact that I wanted to have it all just be over. I rolled over and she told me in plain English that she did not agree with my decision but would proceed as I wished. Years later now, boy do I wish I had listened.
Hired Susan in April 2021. In May of 2022, she told me she had a family member that needed her care and was lightening her case load my dropping me as a client. When I asked here for my case file, she told me to use our email correspondence. Six months later, I called her and asked if she could take my case back on. She told me no, and referred an attorney that charged me twenty-two thousand dollars over nine months before I let her go for incompetence. I have represented myself since august of 2023 and am finally going to trial. Susan may be an okay attorney, but she’s not a good person.
