I had Alexander represent me in a prior case, and saw from then how unprofessional he can be, not only did he not respond promptly to time sensitive inquiries from the case at the time, but was very aggressive and confrontational in interactions. Nevertheless, I regretfully reached back out to him for a new case involving the same parties from the prior one, just for consultation and this is the response i get, mind you i was never advised that he was out of town. I would go with another firm
I was assigned by the court to have Mr. Carlin represent me. When we first met, he was very rude and didn’t wanna hear me out the first day. He said wait until it gets closer to time. I understood that and had to respected that. Time got closer and I had missed my appointment and asked him to contact me back.Through email and I never received the response so I contacted his office and finally I had got a response. He made me think everything was gonna go smoothly. I had send him evidence But he said that I had to send it to him in physical copy and get a USB drive for the audios that I had. I wasn’t able to get it by the time that I needed it so when I contacted him, he was like don’t worry everything will be fine but when we went to court. Nothing was fine. My ex-husband was able to finagle his way because Mr. Carlin didn’t remember emails that was sent to him months prior me asking him to give me my kids lawyer’s information so that I can give all the evidence that I had to theirLawyer. As my ex-husband was speaking they made me look like I was the villain so when I asked to speak to Mr. Carlin afterwards about this, I was trying to explain myself and at no point did he want to hear me. He kept cutting me off and screaming at me as if I was his child. Then, when I explained to him that this is a domestic violence case, and if he knew and understood what I have been going through in life, he would respectively want to listen to me, but at no point he wanted to do that. He made me feel uncared about he told me that all he has to do is win this case and I had explained to him that I should be able to feel safe with my lawyer and I don’t so I definitely don’t recommend him.if the courts assign him to you please ask for another person because he is really rude and doesn’t Make his clients feel safe or cared for. He told me he worked for 30 years and I was able to find another lawyer who Has worked probably less time, but made me feel as if they were trying to protect me. 30 Years work means nothing but compassion means everything
He is rude!!! He left me talking alone on the phone, he cut me off saying he can’t handle my case and it was the first consultation I had… maybe because I have accent?
