I reached out to this law firm and was seen for a consultation, and it was very discouraging. The entire time spent there I was talked to like my concerns and goals for my case were unreasonable. I was fully intending on retaining a lawyer and moving forward in the process of registering my order and filing for modifications, and the attorney I spoke with kept negating and saying that a judge would not listen to the issues I was bringing up. He actually sounded more like the lawyer for the opposing side. He offered some advice, but all leaning towards me just sumbitting to the fact that nothing I was wanting to accomplish would be and I should just accept that. I have been looking for a lawyer in Scottsbluff now for about 3 months, and either they have not called back or do not practice family law. This office was the only one to call me back, and I am very disappointed with the outcome. I have already reached out to a few lawyers out of town to see if I have better more willing help with my case.
I am currently on disability, and just found out that social security determined I am no longer considered disabled. I was in need of help, to appeal that decision. I was told that this firm couldn’t help me, because they didn’t know how, since they didn’t help me get on disability originally. I am happy to not be using their services.
