Myshell Lyday has completely ignored us for a month and going. She was suppose to meet with the prosecutors mid Jan to come up with a plea agreement but informed us that she missed the meeting because she was out of the country. She had to have known that ahead of time and should have rescheduled it or did it via zoom instead of just missing it. Jan 25th she said she would try to get it prioritized and we should have an agreement in about a week. We are 5 weeks from Jan 25th and haven’t heard or seen anything. We have called, left voicemails on 2 different numbers, emailed, and text her for a month now and have been completely ignored. We made a complaint to the public defender office and they emailed her. She replied to them within an hour but still has not reached out to my husband, me, or my son. If she wasn’t court appointed and I was paying out of pocket I she would be fired. Absolutely ridiculous. Would not recommend her.
