Pigs. Assault being committed in Boulder? Who cares. Homeless people near some rich person’s fine doning experience or bike path? ON IT.
I WAS VIOLATED by this office of predators. I was assaulted, and falsely accused of domestic violence. My accuser had just stolen $150K of my retirement, admitted making false domestic violence allegations and cut me off from my savings accounts so I was living on the street. The District Attorney had a film of the assault and dismissed the false allegations. Yet they charged me for violating a protective order for taking my 401K check from my mailbox so I wouldn’t need to live on the street. I am a caretaker for a family that suffers from mental illness. I pled guilty to violating a protective order. Dougherty’s office put someone who assaulted me, stole my life savings and had me arrested on false allegations and gave them a say over my sentence and early termination of probation for violating a protective order. Cost me >$100k, 14 months living expenses away from my home of 24 years, 18 months probations etc.
I contacted DA’s office about an assault, for which the Boulder police department declined to recommend charges. DA reviewed the case and decided they would pursue the case. This decision helped me to get past the attack. Thank you, office of district attorney Michael Dougherty.
