We had been trying to work through getting an adoption done for almost 10 years. Due to issues with the biological father it was one failed attempt after another. I had finally decided to try and take care of it on my own and contacted the Juvenile office in Springfield to get more info on what my steps would be. She referred me to Elise Baker. I was incredibly grateful and asked if she would just go ahead and be our lawyer. She accepted. Not only was her price about half of the price of all the other lawyers I had talked to but she was incredibly friendly and spoke layman terms and made the process as easy as this kind of process could be. We worked together for months building our case and getting all of the necessary information together and as of December 17, 2021 all 3 of our children have been adopted! 10 years in waiting and it’s finally done! I would recommend Elise to anyone looking to to get an adoption done.
