They don’t return calls when there’s a possible case to discuss. Very sad but I did get a very reputable attorney in Sikeston that was ready to hear about it and take my case.
Mark Blanton was our attorney from the law firm. On numerous occasions he talked down to us. He represented us in a legal issue and did very little towards working for us and recommended that we take a unreasonable settlement. He had a bad attitude and mistreated us when we didn’t want to settle out of court for a very unreasonable settlement . We went to the prosecuting attorney’s office for Pemiscot county and the Pemiscot County police department to pursue legal action through their office on our own. Mark Blanton told us that we could not use some of the documents that we used to get justice in our case and Mark Blanton also told us that the prosecuting attorneys office would not pursue the case. The day after we filled out a criminal investigation report at the Pemiscot County Sheriff’s Office the individual that stole equipment from us was calling us looking to settle our case. As it turned out we received a acceptable settlement from the individual that we were pursuing for steeling from us. Mark Blanton did not work for us in trying to get a fair settlement. We had to pursue the matter ourselves after Mark Blanton recommended that we take a ridiculous low offer that was not acceptable. We hired Mark Blanton to obtain justice for a thief and obtain a acceptable settlement. He failed to be of assistance in obtaining justice and acceptable settlement. He gave us bad advice in our case. Yet we was charged $300.00 a hour for his efforts.
