It wouldn’t let me get away with choosing no stars so I had to choose at least 1! My husband and I hired Brian Hammon 2 years ago for a child custody case. Paid the amount that was asked, got all the information together that was asked for. (We printed it out, put it all in order, and gave it to him! Not via mail or email so it’s not like he or his secretaries had to do it) Had a good start on the filing but then he completely slacked off and let the respondent’s attorney take over it all and basically handed her the reigns and let her and the respondent control it all! He even allowed for the attorney to speak to my husband in a manner that she should have not want it being his attorney!! Several court dates and a lot of money down the drain, asked him months ago to file something for us and he never did but sure had no problem taking our money! Does not like to return calls or emails, a HUGE LACK of COMMUNICATION, his secretary Ann is awful and very unprofessional. He does not stand up for what is right, only for what/who’s in the wrong and taking people’s money! I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND HIM TO ANYONE!!!
If I could give 0 stars I would. They take forever to file basic paperwork, they lied and said the other attorney delayed the hearing by not submitting documents and casenet clearly shows it was them, and most importantly they cost me like 3k because they didn’t make sure the child support agreement was backdated. Avoid at all costs
Do not hire this lawyer, he has no issues taken your money. After which he will dodge your calls/dodge if you come to his office. He’s a terrible lawyer and needs to be looked at for his actions by the Office of Chief Disciplinary Counsel.
