The Cass County Prosecuting Attorney’s office in Harrisonville, Missouri, has received significant criticism for being untrustworthy and extremely unethical, with reviewers expressing frustration over their handling of serious cases, including auto theft and child protection. Many individuals feel that the office fails to prioritize justice for victims, often opting to protect criminals instead, which has left families feeling hopeless and disillusioned with the legal system. Despite these challenges, some reviewers acknowledge the efforts of certain individuals within the office who have provided support during difficult times, highlighting a complex landscape of experiences with the prosecution’s office.
Untrustworthy and extremely unethical.
The cass county prosecutor office has had the case of my stolen 2022 harley Davidson for over a year. They have been provided video evidence. Police have an admission. Address and even receipts. But don’t know if they want to prosecute? What is the purpose of this office if not to seek justice. And this should be a slam dunk case. Easy work. Instead they are coddling criminals and encouraging the auto theft issue we have in the area.
Judge Lett asked the prosecution a question during a court proceeding and she was lied to. The Judge corrected the prosecution and asked the same question again. Again she was lied to.for a second count of perjury. This came after an oral statement that had obvious reasons of concern that was indeed proven to be intentionally misleading and also perjury. As you can read in the link, perjury in a proceeding is a crime. To do it after a preposterous statement was reviewed and read on official court recordings then to attempt to manipulate the Judge/Court as promised to the petitioner is definitely absurd and embarrassing to have on a court recording. Would the Sheriff, prosecution and court follow through on a tip leaving the Judge, defense lawyer and respondent as state witnesses to felonies committed under oath, on court recording and in a felony court proceeding? Heck no they wouldn’t!
