Hired Ms. Farrell in Dec of 2023 to handle estate of my father in law. We paid $3500 for retainer and $400 for filing fee. She said my wife according to the will would be assigned executor within a month or two. Never heard from her. Wife emailed in May and she filed the will at the courthouse. Still no communication about court dates. Wife emailed again in June to inquire about progress of the estate. Again she filed the will with the county. Didn’t hear from her again. Terminated her services in Dec of 2024 and asked for an itemized refund of unused retainer. Never heard from her. Sent email, letter and certified letter requesting refund of unused retainer. Again ignored. Wouldn’t use her for any legal services. All we received were excuses and never had the estate issues resolved.
Made an appointment didn’t show up didn’t call didn’t email didn’t email didn’t anything just left us there for an hour and a 1/2 waiting and wondering emails never got a email back Just seems not to care.
Just drove an hour and a half just for her to cancel 1 hour before hand.
