I have waited over a year to post this since my wording would not have been very nice had I not waited. I had a very bad experience with Kim as a lawyer. I paid the retainer, felt like the whole time my case wasn’t a priority to her, and she did nothing except the paperwork for me. There was no help when the emotions were high, she didn’t help me catch things in the paperwork that were hidden in there, she over charged, had surprising charges when she said there would be no additional charges, and an extra $500 charge that was never explained!
I had Kim as a lawyer and was given a lot of incorrect advice. One example is she kept encouraging me to give up alimony saying I would never get it and encouraged me to give up one of my only bargaining tools. I was awarded alimony despite her advice from the judge!
