Andrew took my case (and a tough one, at that) at a critical time in the case timeline. He thoroughly reviewed all the previous documents (and there were a LOT) and confirmed that the order my previous attorney urged me to sign NEVER should have been signed, as it was not in the best interest of the children (I had a feeling…which is why I then sought new counsel). He even went to opposing counsel and asked how, in good faith, could he propose such an agreement? OC Stephen Dodd replied “well she signed it” with no regard to what was in the best interest of my children who had been home with me, their mother, for the first 7 and 3 yrs of their lives. Andrew then put his feet to the fire and did everything in his power to get me contact back with my children (it was a hard mountain to climb – their Dad works in the family courts and his father used to go on fishing trips with our Judge. His father was also the one to introduce me to our Judge while I was in Law School and doing an internship at the Norfolk County Juvenile Court. )
