I previously retained Attorney Matthew Passalacqua to represent me in a contingency case, primarily to provide information relevant to another ongoing case involving a different client. Throughout the representation, I felt that he did not genuinely care about my interests. Consequently, I terminated his services due to his persistent attempts to misrepresent my statements and coerce me into signing false documents. Unfortunately, I discovered numerous instances of dishonesty, which he employed to strengthen his case. In my opinion, Attorney Passalacqua lacks integrity. Following his termination, he placed an attorney’s lien on my vehicle without prior notification regarding the amount owed, despite our contingency fee arrangement. Notably, he sent the lien to my previous address, which he knew was no longer valid, and the lien was granted. As I do not intend to sell the vehicle, I am unclear on the implications of this action.
