I called to speak with Mark Baer after receiving 2 letters from him by mail regarding the bankruptcy case of my daughter’s father and his child support obligation. I was very surprised at how rude he was. He answered all my questions with an attitude and condescendingly from the moment I asked my first question. I kept it professional and pleasant. However, I was appalled at his manner, especially as a trustee. I asked him 4 questions and each time he kept getting smart and got an attitude. One of my questions was whether my child support obligation would be affected. Another question was whether there was any action that I needed to take to collect the remainder of his obligation. These were professional questions that deserved an honest answer, and a kind answer. I wished him to have a good day, although he was very rude to me. This is unacceptable. The mark of a great attorney is one who can be kind and respectful, regardless of whether he is speaking with the one he is representing or the opposing party. I would not recommend his legal services.
