If I could give a negative numbered star I would. Mr. Sirody did not give very explanatory or efficient amount of information about the fact that the repayment plan could change once filed based on certain factors. I was blindsided by astronomical monthly garnishments which are making it extremely difficult to even survive. Now that my vehicle died, I have been desperately trying to get answers and have called and left messages every day this week. I have only been able to speak with someone once, who now I can’t reach. Mr. Sirody has been non existent since I signed the papers and no one ever returns emails, phone calls or messages. It’s like they don’t care if you even survive. Worst mistake I have ever made going with his office and it has been a nightmare with still two more years left to survive. I will be writing to my trustee to expose some truths about his lack of concern. The questions I needed answers I somewhat answered by doing my own research under the trustee’s website. So why I am I paying an attorney ?!! Most everyone in the office is rude and you get put on a wild Goose chase to even speak with someone.
The last review was written motivated by emotions. I would like to revisit this with a more opened appreciation for the work Attorney Sirody did for.me. Jeff understood that I was very upset when I wrote my last review. As opposed to ignoring me, Jeff Sirody called me in to discuss my concerns. When I lift his office I had a much better understanding of the bankruptcy law. Thank you Jeff.
I had a very bad experience with this company. I called in reference to potentially filing bankruptcy and was greeted with condescension and flat out rudeness. I don’t know who called me back but I believe it was the owner who clearly did not know much about Maryland bankruptcy law, treated me like a second class citizen, and pushed me to make a decision right then and there on the phone. My suggestion is to be more patient with prospective clients, show some compassion as bankruptcy has to be a well thought out decision and not to be taken lightly as one’s life will change in many different ways. If someone reaches out with financial struggles and contemplating bankruptcy, be more compassionate, practice active listening as you are no better than anyone.
