Diana represented me for a property dispute a few years ago and handled the matter well. Because of that, I recommended her to my neighbors for a joint legal battle we were facing. To give a brief summary of our expectations, we primarily needed Diana’s assistance in representing our coalition of neighbors in front of a local county board while also handling the proper submission of all motions to that board. In total, it was one in-person appearance where we could state our case and then two virtual deliberations where only the council/board was able to speak. In addition to the in-person hearing and virtual deliberations, there was the submission of our initial appeal motion, correspondence with the opposition, and then a final reconsideration motion. At first, concerns were being addressed, communication was relatively timely, and paperwork was being correctly handled. We were fairly satisfied with her representation of us even despite losing our initial appeal. However, over time it became a bit apparent that these levels of care were slipping. Communications would go unanswered for sometimes over a week, case updates were given by an AI that at one point didn’t even address me by the proper name, our Motion for Reconsideration was submitted late after having to personally remind her team about its necessity, and it apparently lacked the required material within it that the Board was expecting to see. The final straw, though, has been her complete ghosting of us since the disastrous April 29th hearing, despite her assurance to reconvene and discuss next steps. Since then I’ve attempted to call her office to exhaustion and have been re-scheduled for a phone call (which was only expected to take 10-15 minutes at most) at least six times while going out of my way to be available at whichever times her team has promised me that she would be free at. At one point, she had me wait by my phone at 8:45pm on a Friday because that was the next available time her team claimed she had after multiple previous cancellations on her end. I believe this was already after her team had me wait days earlier for a call around noon, that then got rescheduled to happen around 2, that then got rescheduled to happen around 4, until finally getting cancelled entirely. It’s absolutely ridiculous and even her receptionists at times seem to be at a loss for words as to how to explain the situation other than expressing their apologies. She’s not only let me down, but over a dozen neighbors as well. I’ve gone ahead and attached a screenshot of a more recent inaccurate AI email from her team (my name isn’t Shaun), a text showcasing her final thoughts on the disastrous Reconsideration hearing where 2/3rds of the board wanted to immediately throw out our motion for being late (but then decided on throwing it out instead for lacking any actual exhibits which would prove our case), and a follow-up text where she promised to sync up later that day (but has since disappeared with 6+ cancelled phone call meetings).
