While some clients have expressed dissatisfaction with billing practices and communication, others may find value in the firm’s experience and expertise in navigating complex legal matters. I am unhappy with my experience with Joe Snee, particularly with his managing my billable hours. I had a terrible experience recently with retaining one of his junior associates. When I voiced my concerns as I was being billed for legal advice that was different than other senior attorneys in his firm, Mr. Snee was very rude and condescending. His junior associate wouldn’t even return my calls in a timely manner which I found to be unprofessional. Joe even threatened to sue me when I told him I was going to be writing a negative review to warn others, which I was advised to do by my other attorney. It was obvious he was too “busy” to care about me as a client. And their retainer was much more than the other attorneys in the area. Please be cautious.
The billable hours seemed to be exaggerated. They also messed up the lease contingency and the lease started early and cost us an extra $30k and immediately after told us they wont continue until we paid them. Snee told us they would fight for us tooth & nail but when the time came he didn’t put up a fight at all. The day of the liquor hearing he called us by the wrong names. The guy is old for the job and it shows. In my opinion he’s a crook. He knew how the hearing would turn out and continued to grab as much money as he could. Be prepared to spend a lot for his services!
