Attorney Bigos understands that trauma can significantly impact a person’s communication, behavior, and ability to navigate the legal system. I had no worries with Attorney Bigos on my side, because it wasn’t just him caring about my case… I had a team at this law firm! When you first call Berman and Simmons there will be an intake from a Paralegal that will listen to your situation. I spoke with Erika Lindstrom (Paralegal for Attorney Bigos) who provided a very calming environment and clear communication, which made me feel comfortable and safe. Most importantly, I felt believed, and was provided with support groups (as well as other resources) to help me heal. I didn’t expect that, and was very pleased with all the extra that Berman and Simmons provided to me. They totally went above and beyond. Moreover, Attorney Joseph Gousse was close by to assist. A trauma-trained lawyer as well, Joseph was present for meetings to help; and, from the first moment we met, his personal aura radiated as truly genuine.
