I love this woman, great attorney. highly recommend. she’s almost like a mom to me. Im going through a very difficult divorce with my ex-wife. She will not to negotiate a property settlement or money settlement with me. She will not let on my on property to collect my items. This has been almost 2 years. This will take years to settle be she will owe me a good bit a cash. Thank you Tonya
I retained this Attorney in February 2012 for assistance with filing for my uncontested divorce. It took many calls, that went unreturned by Ms Courson, and writing numerous letters to her as well as notifying the Ouachita Parish Clerk of Court of my experience and dissatisfaction and my request for their advice how to proceed (due to this poor excuse for an attorney and her unwillingness to follow through with what she was paid to do). My divorce was not finalized until 10/23/2014!!! I put a Facebook review of Ms Courson on her FB page. I had so many clients of Ms Courson’s then contact me via Facebook telling me that they were going through the same experience with their divorce after retaining her. I would put 0 stars if it were an option; hence, the reason for 1 star. I WOULD STAY VERY FAR AWAY from Tonya Courson, Attorney At Law, if you want a timely divorce proceeding. I am curious to know if anyone has made their complaints known to the LA State Bar Association regarding Tonya Courson. If not, the Bar should be.
She practically stole my wife’s money and in the 4 years we had her as our attorney she did absolutely nothing made my wife do all the work gathering records court documents and everything. Put it this way if you want to never get you’re kids back she’s the one to hire.
