I did not have a pleasant experience with Mr Tolar, unfortunately. First he submitted my application incorrectly, and second when I approached him with the issue, he never tried rectifying the issue other than stating that we will submit another application down the line which would likely incur more costs and was definitely not what we agreed to nor signed for at the beginning. I also asked for a refund which he stated he will not be refunding me my money. On top of that during our conversation, he used terms like “as we have discussed ad nauseam”, which is inappropriate and unprofessional. Being blatantly disrespectful to your client who has trusted you with your services will not lead to the outcomes you desire. Passive aggression is also not tolerated in any circumstance either. It was trouble getting a hold of him at times, I would message and he wouldn’t respond in due time unless i reached back out a second time so I had stated to him that i value clear communication as I was patiently waiting for his response. (He probably would never respond if I didn’t reach back out again). I have many affiliates within the legal industry and their response times has always been appropriate and timely.
This is absolutely the best law firm in Louisiana. I had to hire a lawyer a few times in my life and I have helped friends and family retain a lawyer periodically; as well. I have never had a law firm as courteous and professional as Tolar, Harrigan & Morris. The majority of lawyers and firms only want an open and shut case and primarily focus on cases that they can get the most money from. Tolar, Harrigan & Morris has completely shattered the stigma associated with lawyers through media and shared personal experiences. This firm is so amazing in all aspects.
