Ensure that he is very engaged and have full knowledge of your case. I do not recommend not show up for your cases because they told you not to show up. I would still want to be present and grasp full knowledge of my case rather be out of the loop or explain a different scenario than what the judge spoken on court day. I recommend you show up and on time so you know can have a general idea how your case is properly handled. Most of all please double check to see if they have an actual law office and full staff not working from their home. It’s shows that they are very professional and ready to conduct face to face conversations before the world of technology decided to take over. Always a lawyer should keep in contact with their clients constantly to answer all there questions and concern. It’s rude to ignore their responses and answer 5-12 days later with the proper follow up time span. A client should never have to keep looking for their lawyer. We all are busy , but it’s important you keep your client in the loop. After all, the clients are paying you for legal advice and guidance, but they aren’t getting the results that they need for their cases. Please do the research and follow your intuition.
