Vermilion Parish District Attorney, located in Abbeville, Louisiana, has received mixed reviews regarding its handling of local issues. While some reviewers express frustration over perceived inaction in protecting individuals’ rights, others commend the decision to not charge a teacher who sought clarification during a school board meeting. Overall, there is a sentiment that common sense and justice should prevail in the district’s actions, highlighting the need for accountability and protection of constitutional rights.
Do not contact them if you have any questions..very rude!!
Shocking that you would allow a teacher to be attacked and her constitutional rights be ripped away from her, under your jurisdiction, under your nose, and just look away. Too lazy or too involved to protect her and file charges on her behalf?
Used more common sense than the Vermilion Parish School Board by not charging teacher arrested for asking questions after being given permission to speak by Board Chairman. Instead, hope officer who physically abused teacher without cause will be charged and or fired.
