I’ll start off with saying Virginia was a very nice lady and seemed on top of everything at first. However, as we moved further in the process of bankruptcy, it became very tough to get help or responses from her. She used “taking care of her elderly husband” as an excuse quite a few times. Which I completely understand needing to take care of your spouse, but it shouldn’t stop you from responding to your clients texts or emails for days and weeks. I had to mention 2 or 3 different times about switching to a different lawyer in order for her to respond to some of my emails. It has been a very frustrating experience with her and I would never recommend her to anyone going through a bankruptcy. Please interview multiple attorneys before selecting one. It does make a difference on who you use. I know some friends that went through bankruptcy and they have told me how easy and smooth their process went with their attorney. Nothing like our experience with Virginia unfortunately.
