I had ryan as my lawyer for over 2 years. In that time I did not get even a minute of additional time with my son. I told ryan my plan was to get full custody, or the very least more time with my son, and then we can move from there. All the attempts were unsuccessful. I gave him a game plan of what I wanted to happen. Instead he suggested mediation and a psyche evaluation for the mother. Mediation lead no where and the people who did the psyche eval did not ask the questioned i prepared. The mother easily manipulated her answers and avoided getting a correct assessment. The suggestions he offered ended up being a big waste of time and money. I naively went along with his plan instead of pushing for mine. A big complaint also is the fact that i had to babysit him when it came to updates. I called and emailed numerous times just to be updated on the next steps we were taking or how far along he was in the process. Not once did he reach out on his own and update me with basic information your client should know. It felt like there were certain clients he gave a good effort for and the rest, not so much. I believed we had an easy court case we could win, but ultimately i let him go because i could no longer afford his incompetence. This review is my opinion.
Ryan is extremely professional, honest, and easy to work with. Will continue to use his services for any case that I need handled in KS. He was used for my divorce and also a traffic incident years ago. I definitely recommend him for anyone looking for a great attorney.
We have used ryan over the last almost 10 years on issues as they arose. He was always straight forward and honest. Our recent incident involved our kids and family law. Ryan went above and beyond what he was retained to do. I saw a couple different attorneys on the matter but ryan was the real deal. As our case went forward he was always ready and as things and circumstances changed he was prepared and adjusted accordingly always keeping my family and kids protected.
