Thank you thank you to Rhonda and Doris, I hope I have those names correct, for helping our daughter and son in law with their marriage license chaos ! You eased my mama heart , me being in a different state and not there to help them navigate through this craziness has been so hard and you ladies went above and beyond in helping them with what to do and how to do it all day today! I cannot thank you enough! You are amazing people!
Our experience here at riley district court was AMAZING! Rhonda and Doris, specifically, were so helpful and understanding of our situation. They helped us through every step of the way, and I so wish I would have gone to them in the first place. As for everyone else there, including the judges, they were super kind and helpful as well. I would 10/10 recommend going here!
It’s still the most corrupt place in Riley County. I’m in the process of appealing a wrongful conviction for violating a protective order by participating in COURT ORDERED communication. These people won’t allow my appellate attorney to have any of the transcripts, so now they have to be ordered by the court of appeals. It’s disgusting how the police, judges, and procecutors can take bribes, commit perjury, threaten defense attorneys, tamper with the jury, and literally make up laws as they see fit then obstruct justice by refusing to turn over transcripts. Getting court transcripts is normally a simple process, but not here where they make up laws, openly violate your rights, and disregard the rules.
