Shawn Little is ineffective and will rob you of money you don’t have. She makes her staff handle everything because she’s too busy spending money and working about 2 days a week. My divorce took over a year because of her vacation schedule and her inability to actually respond to ANYTHING in a timely manner. She charged me $5,500 and never met with me in person once. She didn’t even file for a hearing when I critically needed one. Instead she withdrew from the case. I guess it was too much work for her. So, be smart, and take your business elsewhere because she won’t do anything but spend your money.
Extremely impressed with Shawn! I had 3 attorneys prior to hiring Shawn and she is by far the best one I’ve had. She’s responsive and quick to handle situations, always making sure that if you have children she is doing everything she can to keep their best interest at heart! Ruth is also the best paralegal around! If you have a complicated, challenging custody case, definitely hire Shawn!
I hired Shawn and her team in the spring of 2017… to finally get back child support from my ex-husband from our divorce that has been strung out with games since 2010. Finally, got a court order (contempt) that he owed it to me, along with all of my legal fees. Amazing finally! Except, I now had to constantly find out if/when that was ever going to happen. Nope, never did. I tried to stay in touch with my legal team, but there was always a continuance, or a no-show on his part. Fast forward after Covid, and he paid half of what he owed me, and I am still paying my legal fees to Shawn. I tried to touch base in the fall of 2022, to find out what the plan was going to be…. apparently she is no longer representing me. What!? One would think that after thousands of dollars of payment to her, (that I am supposed to be reimbursed for) there would be the decency and professionalism of following through and taking care of the case. I’ve had the same email address the entire time, and somehow the bill always finds its way to my home address that has been the same for years now as well. Yet, somehow they couldn’t contact me to let me know that they were no longer wanting to represent me. The most ridiculous thing I have ever dealt with. No professionalism, no integrity.
