Upon meeting Lori, she told me I had a solid full-custody case. Every conversation I had with this woman leading up to my court case, she acted like it was the first time we had met & that my case was less & less solid every time I had talked to her. She told me in the beginning that a Guardian Ad Litem would be critical to the case, yet refused to fight for one. She refused to issue any subpoenas claiming the judge wouldn’t care what other people had to say. The day before court, she calls me into her office to tell me that she’s not fighting almost any of the claims I’ve made about my ex & that I wasn’t going to be allowed to talk about them, either. She did not even look at any evidence until the day before our court hearing. In court, she didn’t ask a single meaningful question in the cross examination. She didn’t ask a single question she told me she was going to ask. & She refused to call my ex out on lies she told & that we could prove.
Lori was so helpful in negotiating a co-guardianship for our granddaughter years ago but now that we need help again we’ve been ghosted. Nothing I can do it seems. I’m sad we’ll have to look elsewhere.
She is very polite respectful I wouldn’t trade her for any other lawyer she’s done me well over the years finally got custody .
