Just some advice. When doing an adoption, do not just put an initial for a child’s middle name. Not sure if you have to charge more for a whole last name :(. This makes things extremely difficult obtaining a child’s birth certificate and social security card. There is a lot of unwanted work to obtain several supporting documents, besides what the court issues and to prove they are in deed who you say they are, because the information doesn’t match. After months and several trips to the health department, court house, and social security office. I was able to correct this typo for the most part. Except the health department and social security office unfortunately removes their middle name and makes it just an initial. Accidents and clerical errors happen, but adoptions are hard enough, don’t make things any harder due to errors or maybe pure laziness.
