Richard Thornert coerced me into taking a plea agreement. I was charged in a criminal case and mental illness played a severe role in it. When I first met Richard I told him that God had spoken to me and that was the reason I did what I did. I also told him that I wanted to view my discovery. The whole time he was telling me all these type of things happen all the time the judge understanding when they view your medical records most likely you’ll be going home. When Richard finally showed me my discovery I was in the courtroom in handcuffs sitting in the podium I had already been in jail for over 7 months he brought the discovery in the courtroom tripped over the stairs and handed to me with very little time I was unable to actually view the discovery and process it but I was able to read a little bit of it and that’s when I saw that they had me in the interview room saying that I was screaming hallelujah and I was never there. I was evaluated by two doctors one by the state and one outside doctor and they both concluded that I was insane. Now the whole time I’m sitting in jail telling myself okay as soon as I get my medical records I’ll be going home when Richard Thornet came to visit me he came with a plea. I had been sitting in jail for at least 8 months and I want to say seven of them I was in the hole. I took the plea with the impression that I would be getting house arrest because that’s what Richard told me. Another time and I just found this out. On another case that he worked on. I just saw this on my case.gov. He filed a motion to suppress. The judge order a hearing and he never told me about the hearing. He gave me a plea before the hearing
