I do not feel that I received fiduciary care with the attorneys here. I do not believe that I benefited whatsoever from an almost 10k bill, and we suffered injury to our settlement goals. I also believe inadequate representation created further damage to our family relations. I was charged for the preparations for a counter settlement agreement and told the offer was sent and the opposing counsel never responded. My goal was a settlement agreement which only added transportation to the original agreement I walked in with written by my opposing attorney and after Rex dismissed me as his client, I learned from opposing counsel that the offer was never sent. I was both charged and lied to about it being sent.After almost 30 yrs with my ex husband I was left and without transportation. I believe my case could have been directed by counsel for a higher profit purpose towards court proceedings. During our first Deposition my attorney was flipping through my file and decided on his own, without my inquiry to ask for an asset that was given to my ex husband from his late mother. This caused major destruction for any kind of settlement opportunity and further injured relations. This asset was a John boat that I never wanted and could not even care for while living in an apartment! It had very little value! I was dismissed as a client after asking my attorney if he even read through my file because I truly believed he hasn’t! The dismissal from him was a day before depositions and about a month before court.Considering a counter suit and anything else that I can do to make sure this does not happen to anyone else that is in my position while this case drug on for abt a yr. The entire experience was a nightmare for me.
