I received an advertisement through the mail of Brian Lakey promoting himself as being a marine and next county sheriff and Elkhart Police Department policeman also working for the prosecutor’s office, so I thought that I could hire this guy to help me with my case, went and met with him and his wife was told that $1000 would take care of the case for me. After my experience, I realized that his polished resume was nothing more than a facade to lure in unsuspecting clients. It became clear that their primary goal was to extract money without providing any real service or support. The entire situation left me feeling frustrated and betrayed, as I had trusted them to help me during a vulnerable time. In the end, I learned a valuable lesson about the importance of due diligence and the need to protect oneself from unscrupulous individuals in the legal field.
