Well here I came for a second opinion from Dr Van Fleet`s office. The only option he had was a rod and screws in my back! My sciatica hurts so badly and I heard of a procedure called a microdiscectomy and was desperate to see if that would relieve the pain. My GP referred me to this Dr. Or I thought I was seeing a Dr. It turns out I was seeing a Neurologist P. A. Who was just collecting information and supposedly setting up a few tests, then I would see a Neurosurgeon who would let me know! So I paid my specialty co-pay, talked to Jacob and was PROMISED that he would get me IN ASAP To see the Neurosurgeon because I was in so much pain. I had been messing around with al, this for months now between MRIS and Drs. He told me he would get me scheduled for a CAT Scan and an EG BUT IF I COULDN’T GET IN FOR THOSE ASAP he would still get me into the Dr. Three weeks Later I hadn’t heard a thing and when I called the nurse had no idea what I was talking about!! Still nothing! I’ve called twice! I wasted my time and another specialty co-pay! What has happened to patient care? I have Blue Cross Blue Shield Insurance and they pay when billed! I don’t understand! I’m back to what to do again! There is nothing for pain! I even sent in a form to get a temporary parking placard and they didn’t even tell me they wouldn’t fill it out! They sent it to my GP!! I sure miss good old caring specialty Doctors…
