Mr Cowell seemed great when I first spoke with him. He had the toughness and understanding, from what I thought. My ex was making my life miserable and we filed for a motion to amend our parenting plan. After the filing of the motion, it was all downhill. The ex kept coming back with new arguments to which Mr Cowell advised me to bend on each and every time. My ex dragged his feet with agreeing and Mr Cowell perpetuated the problem and made zero effort to reach a quick agreement. Mr Cowell would say he was drafting a response to opposing counsel and it would go weeks and sometime months and several request from me before a response was ever drafted. Then I would get a bill when I called and asked for a status update. He doesn’t have a paralegal or secretary working for him and he takes on way more than he can handle. My modification to the parenting plan took over a year when I ended up requesting Mr Cowell to withdrawal. I spent over $25,000 on a simple parenting plan modification and had do most of the work, had to have several repeat conversations with Mr Cowell that he charged me for, and had to inspect each and every bill because he charges for the most ridiculous things. In my opinion , he isn’t very smart and very untrustworthy and is not worth his hourly rate. I had him withdrawn and afterwards talking with the ex’s attorney was much easier and FREE and we were able to get everything completed quickly. Mr Cowell made one of the worse times in my life even worse and took so much money from me that wasn’t warranted. If you want more details on my experience with Mr Cowell feel free to reach out.
