I’ve known Mort Rubin for 14 years as my real estate attorney!! He closed on my first property and I have gone back to him anytime I need something. He has always been easy to get a hold of, very knowledgeable, and he’s a very nice guy. He’s always given me great advice. We had one property deal that went sideways and required litigation – he doesn’t do that but he referred us to someone who handled it. Anyways, a lawyer that you still personally like after 14 years is a rarity so believe me when I say Mort is The Man for the job!!
Mort really looked out for my best interests as a buyer, always keeping my needs/wants as priority #1. His questions/suggestions and cross-communications (i.e. with brokers, lenders, opposing counsel, etc.) were spot-on, knowledgeable and clutch. He also did an excellent job conveying complicated closing documents into easy-to-digest layman’s terms for me, making me extremely comfortable in the process.
