10+ years after my divorce I KNOW that I can write a objective review about Sally Litchner. My divorce lasted 3+ years and I was a very active participant Father with my two kids. I tried to work out more time with my kids, with my Ex. I asked for sleep overs on Wednesday and Thursday nights as I had my kids every other weekend and Wednesdays and Thursdays. However, my Ex, I’m guessing due to the ‘I’m not going to let him do that which will piss him off’ mentality most of us have while going through a divorce, would not allow it to happen. Hence, we met Sally Litchner to mediate. We met with Sally several times and I outlined that I lived in the same school district, car pooled, owned a home with a separate bebrooms for both kids, cooked dinners, planned vacations, attended parent/teacher conferences, scheduled Dr appointments and attended them, and dedicated my parenting time to them. I was hopeful to get Wednesday and Thursday over nights, as my kids didnt get ‘home’ until 630pm and we had to have dinner and finish homework so I could return the kids back to their Mom’s by 8pm. (a 15 min drive from). Bottom line, Sally said these two Middle school and High School kids need a ‘routine’ and sleep overs on Wednesday and Thursdays would disrupt that. Fast forward today, my ADULT kids share how they viewed ‘ the divorce’ and time with their Father. I wish Sally would have considered the importance of a Father in the kids life as opposed to routine. SHAME ON YOU SALLY. I pray that the Counseling community realizes how important Father are in kids lives. We are seeing this more and more in todays society. Kids need a ‘present father’ I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND SALLY LITCHER FOR ANY DIVORCE OR MEDIATION. (sorry for the length of this however, Fathers, find another option so that you can be a active father in your kids life)
Endangers childrens’ lives out of greed and pleasure. Run for the hills……
I highly recommend using Sally Lichter, Esq as your divorce attorney. My personal attorney recommended I retain Sally. After the initial meeting with Sally, I immediately knew she would be easy to work with and would get the best outcome for me. There was no delay in starting to work on my case. I really appreciated how thorough she was and there for me every step of the way. Whether it was providing counsel, discussing next steps, attending depositions, completing financial statements, or attending court appearances. Sally’s counsel was spot on, and she provided easy to understand reasoning for her actions. She was always one step ahead of my ex’s attorneys throughout the entire process. She anticipated their every move and what they would ask for next. I was never caught off guard. When my divorced was finalized, I felt the outcome was favorable and equitable. Do not hesitate to retain Sally as your divorce attorney or any of the other practice areas Sally provides.
