He took the payment to get a divorce done. FOUR months later he comes back and states that he is referring the case to another attorney. DO NOT WASTE your time with this guy. He does not follow up, he does not keep you notified as to where things are in the process and is terrible at returning your email requests and phone calls.
I wouldn’t recommend this attorney, Deron Benson to anyone. I hired him to represent me in small claims court, he filled paperwork incorrectly (according to court) and was no show for my court date which caused my case to be closed !!!! I had to go to court to find this out and refile all the paperwork! as he totally ignored me and didn’t tell me he missed the court date! No follow up no explanation, nothing! Also, I paid filling fee and retainer fee and received no refund! Unbelievable and beyond unprofessional . Do yourself a favor and find an attorney who actually shows up to court dates.
