I had an incredibly poor experience with retaining Winter Campanella in my divorce. I paid $250 for a consultation, had a great conversation with her so hired her the next day with a $3,000 retainer. She then completely ghosted me for the next 30 days. I called her office at least half a dozen times and her secretary just kept telling me over and over again that she would call me back. But she never did. She also never responded to emails, and in the process of her completely ignoring me I was then served with divorce papers that she should have known about because apparently they were filed the day before I paid her retainer. She did not do her due diligence, she is completely unprofessional, and I would warn anyone away from hiring her.
Nothing but good things to say. This firm has their priorities and values in the right place.
I cannot recommend Winter, and her entire staff, enough. I was in a very tough spot, custody-wise, and she believed in me, and fought tooth and nail for me to get a just and fair outcome. Communication, day AND night, was excellent, she knows the law inside and out, and has a good relationship with those in the judicial system throughout Jackson County. Would give more than 5 stars if possible.
