This is the 2nd year Wierenga has done our taxes as a service provided by out financial management group. For 2023 there were growing pains – although all my documentation was provided by mid-March my taxes were not completed until September; estimates of amount owed (and hence required payments) were grossly overestimated (despite my pushback that they did not match up with prior year); and I was not that thrilled with the service. For 2024, with the tax and document portal provided, things went much smoother. There was easier communication, information flow, and document submittal. My documents were in by the deadlines provided, and my taxes were completed and submitted well in advance of IRS April deadline. 1st week in April, I have already received my tax overpayments from the IRS. Much happier with the overall process this year, and hoping it carries on into the next year.

The tax return was completed in a timely basis. Communication was excellent and the website for downloading tax forms was great. Far better than the previous website.
